Just saw that Kenny was listed at #44 on WUMB's listener's poll of "Top 100 favorite folk performers to listen to when they have the blues." Sweeeet!

By the way -- it's been a year now since Kenny last visited us in Pittsburgh (hint, hint.)

Wishing you a wonderful and successful 2004!

Hi Kenny!
We LOVE you and wish you would be in NYC more often... we need some weekend shows though as we are getting older and have early morning jobs and really can\'t make it during the week. I\'m even thinking of taking a day off just so I can make it to your Dec. 3 show!!!! We love you - Joann and Andrew

Kenny, I also caught your show in Cleveland. Great stuff! My wife and I learned about you through Marc Cohn and have been big fans ever since we got "Uninvited Guest." I was also very excited to hear your new music--I can\'t wait for your next CD to come out. When do you think that will be? Thanks again for a great performance!

Saw you at Wachusett last Sunday and I was standing in line when the person in front of me
told you she\'d like to hang out with you, but not be you. I don't know if I agree or not. But I do know that the \"Dream\" song is very intense and funny, and the \"Might as well Leave\" song might be my favorite song ever. Thank you for an incredible afternoon.

I saw you last night at Passim and immediately bought your CD which I have been listening to since.
I really liked the song you sang about "back to the drawing board" or something like that. It\'s not on the CD though. Will it be on a CD soon? Where can I find it? Can you put the lyrics somewhere?

Also, are you married? If you\'d like to dine with a nice young woman in Boston, please let me know.

I was really glad that you came back to RI. I have been looking forward to it. I saw you in Warren, RI on Saturday night. I may have been one of the youngest in the crowd at 23, but it was worth while. The first time I saw you was about a year ago in East Greenwich, RI. I went to see Johnathan Edwards and Cheryl Wheeler, and you were there. I bought your CD and it was really good. It\'s the kind of CD that you can listen to from beginning to end, and those can be hard to come by. My friends say that I have an old soul and maybe they are right, but I just like to think that I have good taste. It was fun. Come back soon.

We've had a few attempts to get Kenny back to Canal Street, but so far none that have worked with routing. We're trying for this summer though, so keep checking back on the schedule.

Kenny,
My wife and I were surprised by your presence at UHA last night and totally captured by your performance. We went to experience Jonathan as we always will and ended up with the duo to die for. Fresh arrangements, cosmic and seemless hand-offs, thoughtful and relevant (a.k.a. kickass) harmonies, and a sincere marriage of musical kinship. It doesn\'t get any better than that... but it could. It could if you and Jon would cut some tracks together... okay Roland can join in here and there... but keep with the spirit of that live engagement. Us old Shaboo folks will go nuts and a whole new generation will find what\'s needed right now. You guys have a sound that needs to be shared and the time is now. Please go for it. And for the record, we\'re pissed too... but also not pissed enough for THIS war ahead. love what you\'re doing. Don\'t stop.
Don

Hi Kenny.

It feels strange writing to you on this public site, but I wanted to tell you how happy I am that you're still doing what you love and are best at. It brings me true joy to watch you do what you do.

Years ago (1976?), I wrote lyrics about you. Benita set them to music. It\'s funny looking back on that now because you seem to have moved through the \"stages\" I envisioned and expressed in those lyrics and into a really great place.

Thanks for the shows in Cambridge and Littleton. You were spectacular. I wish you all the best always,

Your old friend
