Saw you open for Peter at the Birchmere and was thoroughly blown away. What a treat to have an opening act that is as memorable as the headliner. I own upwards of 3,000 CD's and make annual \"10 Best Discs of the Year\" lists for friends and colleagues-I bought Uninvited Guest that night and have played it constantly. \"My Recurring Dream\" is an incredible composition, equal in its impact to Don McLean\'s \"American Pie\" and Springsteen\'s \"Jungleland\". But where\'s the other memorable tunes you performed that evening (i.e. the 9/11 tune or the tune about the Boulez Bakery)-do we need to wait for the next CD for those? Anyway, just wanted to say its an inspiring piece of work and the performance was galvanizing-best of luck for 2003.

Kenny,
I hope you write back to me at some point! I love your CD and play it almost everyday and I absolutely love it. It has effected me greatly and I would love to get to know you!
My favorite songs are \"Ready to leave all this behind" and "cold winter Wind". (of course, "recurring dream" and "Uninvited guest" are close second favorites). "Everytime you walk away" stays in my head.
One of my favorite lines is in \"Don\'t go out tonight" - "you swear he makes you tremble, you were shaky from the start\".
You mention your dog in \"one step Up\". Do you really have a dog?
I don\'t quite get \"Johnny\'s got a crush\" Not too sure of that relationship!
I can\'t get enough of this CD and can\'t wait for another one!

Hi Kenny,
You may very well not remember me, but I remember meeting you many years ago (like 15) when you played at my mother\'s restauraunt and club The Folkway in Peterborough NH with Jonathan Edwards. I actually still have the words to one of your songs called \"To Me\" which I thought was amazing and wanted to learn to play. Funny to come upon your website after all these years, hope I\'ll get to hear you play again sometime!

Kenny, I was at Club Passim last night and I really enjoyed your opening for Don White. Switching between the keyboard and guitar was cool and I like the technical style of your keyboard solos. Although, maybe it was a setting on the keyboard or something but it was a bit distracting when you went into the low notes...they didn\'t seem to fit with the generally fast, light songs.
That last song about the \"recurring dream\" is fantastic! :)

note to bonnie - when i read the post about not eveyone being a christian i thought it was just an objective observation (could have even been kenny clarifying his lyric) and not a personal slam against any belief - it felt like your response was much more terse and uncalled for than the post you responded to - it is a lyric which does what any good poetry should anbd that is evokes a response - makes us think a bit more about the thngs we do believe and how we express them - please don\'t take this as anything more than an observation - much the same way you were pointing out your discomfort with the lyric. some great imagery in the song over all and in context the line is a brilliant observation - especially if you embrace that when someone sings they pray twice - check out a song by larry norman called \"the tune\" might give another slant on things - sometimes our vernacular needs shaking up.

Teaming up with Shawn Colvin was a great idea, your styles blend well; especially as solo artists performing. Both of you write intelligently and insightfully and are musical virtuosos.
I agree with Bonnie on the lyric in the song, and, like her, it didn\'t keep me from thoroughly enjoying the show. Different opinions.....that\'s OK.

My Wife and I caught your show at the Coach House last week. We thouroughly enjoyed how your softspoken voice merged with New York cynical lyrics and was flavored with great piano work. The songs \"In my recurring Dream\" and \"Last Stop\" stuck in our heads for the next few days so we purchased the CD at Amazon. The disc is great and a nice addition to our collection. I only wish that \"Last Stop\" had the fiery piano playing showcased at your gig. All the best - good luck! Please let us know when you will be in California again.

Bonnie - I guess, you have to keep in mind that not everyone is a Christian, AND the song is based on a series of dreams and things that happen within them. Also for many people, music is more powerful than any other mode of expression, celebration, etc. It\'s all subjective and individual.

But I share all the same feelings. Also at the Shaboo ;-) The only thing that really pissed us off;
you guys are even sexier now than back then! How does that happen? We love you.

That was about
as good a show I have ever seen. (wilde auditorium) I, having been a long time
fan of Jonathan and you guys, expected somewhat of a nostalgiic time, reliving
the old songs. What I got was a moving, inspiring, and as current as any one
in the past. Kenny was the unexpected mind blow of the evening. What songs,
and what stage manner! To find out that he\'s just been performing for the past
year!! Well, I for one cannot wait for the next one. Keep up the amazing work,
you guys. I am proud to be a fan.

I went to
see Jonathan Edwards last night at the University of Hartford with 5 girlfriends.
I had no idea you would even be there. We were in awe of your piano skills.
I have never seen anyone hit those keys like you did. You have amazing talent.
I was pleasantly surprised to get introduced to your music!
