You were fabulous in last night’s concert at McCabes. Please consider coming back to Los Angeles there are many more of my friends and family that need to hear and experience your exceptional talent. I concur with Seth’s post that we can definitely fill an appropriate venue. Thanks to Cheryl Wheeler for sharing you with her fans.

Hey Kenny,
Was totally swept over by your talent when I saw you open for cheryl Wheeler last year! I loved you music and your performance as much as I love her. It\'s rare when an opening act becomes a new favorite!

I was disappointed because i was at the 8:00 show at MacCabes and only got to hear you do two songs.

I see you are coming to Northern CA In May. Please come to L.A. If you need a gig
I would be happy to host a house ocncert of 40-50 people.

Thank you for such an amazing show in Denver, Co. this week. You are truly the mouthpiece for those of us who cannot express our feelings or frustrations. And now for those of us who have had it with the religious right and their politics of hate. \"Pat Robertson\" says everything I\'ve wished someone would say. Whenever I am confronted with a \"face it or run away\" situation, I have only to think of your song, \"5 girls\" before I realize what I need to do. That is invaluable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Can\'t wait to see you do your own show in Denver.
Sincerely, Ronald Geiger.

Kenny White! Haven\'t seen you in ages and thought I would send you a \"Howdy\" from the mountains of Northwest NJ, where the bear and the deer do roam. Yes, still in NJ, but I don\'t want to die here. Hope you read these messages and find the time to say \"Howdy\" back. It\'s been a long, strange trip since we meet in 2nd grade(I think?) and I am very happy that you have found a special place in your heart and in your life (been reading all the reviews). I have always been pulling for you.

If you have the time and/or the inclination, call me. My office number is 973-808-3122 and my home number is 973-983-0663.

Yes, believe it or not, I still write songs myself, through all the craziness in this world and in my own life. Would love to talk to you again. Only recently found your website and thought this would be a good way to contact you. Say hello to your brother Larry for me.

Also, I love Canada too!

Saw you at the Aladdin tonight in Portland, OR and just wanted to tell you how amazing we (me and my g/friends) thought you were. Your music is so incredibly thoughtful and packed with every emotion known to me. Your humor was endearing. Even when it was toward the more acerbic, it was genuine and worldly. The Pat Robertson song nearly brought the house down and I thought it was a \"fair and balanced\" look at the RR!
Anyway, thank you so much for coming to Portland and I hope you are back here for a much longer show. And very soon. Peggy D.

I saw you open for Judy Collins at the Moore Theater in Seattle tonight and really enjoyed your set. Loved the humor and insights in your songs. The one about Pat Robertson may have got the crowd stirred up (Seattle was a good place to sing it) but it was your virtuoso piano playing that brought the house down. Hope to catch your gig at the Phinney Neighborhood Center in Februay.

Dear Kenny,

My wife and I enjoyed your show in Lawrence, KS - I was surprised, having listened to both your CD\'s for a couple of months (I just couldn\'t get them out of ANY of my CD players) that we were able to see you in such an intimate setting.

I really appreciate how you bring EVERYTHING to your songwriting; your joys, annoyances, insight, pain -- everything. I\'m an acting teacher and if I could teach my students how to bring themselves to their acting work the way you do your songwriting and performing, I\'d call every day a success.

Thanks, Kenny White -- still diggin\' your songs, let me know if I can help you get to Kansas City for a bigger house.

I agree with the last sentiment. I heard you in Manhattan, Kansas this week. (to a rather large audience) I don\'t know when I\'ve ever heard such a fresh perspective

Saw Jonathan Edwards for the first time in Paramus about 10 years ago - my wife and I became big fans and continue to catch his shows every time he's around. We came to know Kenny White because he'd sit in with JE at the Towne Crier. Now we're huge fans of KW and catch his shows every time he's around. Finally got to see Cheryl Wheeler for the first time last night (back in Paramus) after hearing JE (and KE) speaking of her for the past 10 years. What a great show with KW opening for and then in sitting in with CW.

Note to Kenny: Janet and I couldn't understand, why you were selling phone cards along with the CDs last night. Seemed kinda strange.

Friday night - World Cafe Live with Shawn Colvin - TWO (count 'em) TWO shows!

Bought the CD (Symphony in 16 Bars)- listened some on the way home - busy weekend - but today at work? I had a Kenny White day! The more I listen... the more I love it!

Put on the CD - left my office door open a crack - awaited the curious - the music lovers - the tunefully social and they came on and off all day...

"Who is it?"

"Where did you get the CD?"

"Is he still playing in the area?"

"Wow! It's poetry set to music!"

"What the hell are you listening to????" (Ok... one bad apple blah blah blah. The man obviously has no soul.)

All day... over and over... I'm hooked! AND... just in time to add this CD to my Top 10 Favorites of 2004 to post on xpn.org's survey!

I'm gonna make them play at least a cut or two this week. I am. I'm gonna request it every day, three times a day.

Tomorrow is "long song Tuesday" on xpn at lunch. Will they play "5 Girls"? I hope so! I'm sure gonna ask!

What an unexpected treat! I'm a fan for life!

Thanks, Kenny... for the music!

I, too, saw you last night with Ms. Colvin in Ridgefield, CT. I run with a chatty group of women, myself included. You provided one of those times where NO words said far more than any could have. We just looked at each other, knowing we'd just witnessed something.
I don't know how you do what you do, given everything you do, but keep doing it. Ok?

Thank you for the glimpse through your window. Saw you tonight with Shawn Colvin and was blown away. I know they're called lyrics, but its your words, Kenny, I love your words. And your really cool hat. I listened to Uninvited Guest on my ride home from Ridgefield and already can't get enough of "in my recurring dream." "Symphony in 16 bars" was sold out tonight and I've got this craving to hear it . I'd love it if you would sign it too. How possible is that? ~H.

I saw you in manhattan KS a while back, you were truely amazing. I am only 14 and felt rather alone being the only kid there, but after awhile i just got swept up in the music and the energy of the show. I love you to pieces now and can't stop listening to symphony in 16 bars, your an amazing guy, and my new role model!

Side note: Thought it was funny you were just opening, thought you could have done the whole thing by yourself. Once again, most spectacular job!

I've marked down December 1st in the calendar. We'll see you at the Living Room. $5.00 to get in - you're killing me. If you pass around a collection basket, I'll contribute.

"testing 1-2" and "Symphony..." are in the car and portable CD player always. 'Hurry up baby" from the e.p.- the ending can't be described. - I'd love to see you play it. Shoot the Moon is among my current favorites. Tough to choose from the entire lot, but that tune has really gotten under my skin. I listen to your stuff every day, man. EVERY DAY!

Saw you at the new song festival this weekend and was so incredibly taken with your performances. Not knowing who you were, I leisurely strolled to the octagon after the rain and missed half of your set. When I saw the second half, I couldn't have been more sorry to have gotten there late. You are a soulful writer and an exciting performer. I am excited to hear the CDs and will be a fan from now on. Great work.

After listening to the EP last night and today I knew I had to get the 2 CDs. It's great to hear what you are thinking. The piano playing is incredible but who knew... The touching voice, the gifted wordsmith. Man, I'm real excited and can't wait to get the CDs. I play and sing as well and live in northern NJ. We'll come see you in NYC - absolutely!!!

Kenny, saw you last night in Pawling and loved your set. I didn't think there was a bad one in the set, but a few really resonated with me. My wife and I really loved the political tinged ballad, the one that ended with "I will find my own way to live in Peace". Great song and timely. Also really enjoyed the journey through the song about the five girls and being able to say yes instead of no. We were told most of those songs will be on your next CD. We look forward to its release and hope to see you hear again soon. Thank you. David
